I think Mini Metro had a Vancouver map in the workshop.

Edit: And they are spoken for! That was quick!

Hello community!

As the title states, looking for someone or a local service to convert these VHS tapes to digital for the Internet Archive.

My collection is much larger (image below), but the 17 tapes in the main image aren't archived yet (as far as I can tell with the DDoS attacks) and I am hoping to be a good netizen and contribute to the cause.

Side note, I will be parting away with my entire collection of ~80 VHS for free (or by donation to the Greater Vancouver Food Bank). If this interests you and you're in the lower mainland, let me know! :)

A volunteer-run group tasked by the City of Vancouver to analyze its budget is suggesting the city generate revenue from city assets through selling naming rights and running sponsorship campaigns.

I've tried to delete my earlier post, but for the folks of you who might have seen it:

It's all good! The little guy went on a stroll by itself and knows his way home!

He is known to the West Vancouver Bylaw Division and they confirmed that he's all good.

Thank you!

Bullet holes could be seen on a black SUV sitting at the centre of the police scene.

(Robson and Richards. Article doesn't indicate that anyone was hurt, it seems like a bullet did go into the Tim Horton's in that area.)

Three apartment fires with one common factor.

The properties were — and still are — owned by Fu De (Henry) Ren and his wife, Fang Yan. And while the Mount Pleasant fire was determined to be accidental, the buildings and their owners had a record of multiple fire safety violations.

Why does it seem that people actively avoid expressing disaagreements on what somone says when they are out somewhere having a conversation? Why arwe people more concerned about trying to sound nice rather than being honest? It's not provactive or antagonizing to simply say "I can't agree with you on that, I disagree." I suspect that if someone articulates the reasoning behind their disagreement, a lot of people would not be bothered by it, unless someone wants everybody to believe the same things and are easily disturbed by contrary points of views.
