I already struggle with applying for (US) jobs; ADHD and executive dysfunction

I'm afraid of (worker) abuse; I haven't been taught boundary skills; and I hate change; so I think I would just easily accept the abuse.

FWIW, I do.

I used to have a relatively good job where I did data analysis and process optimization which I quite enjoyed. The work itself was great, but all the stuff around it, being on time maintaining stable output rates became so difficult as I grew older and more tired and less able to self-regulate...

When things started breaking apart, I finally got diagnosed, won a grievance against my employer and then quit my job. Just the idea of going back to a regular white collar job fills me with dread and anxiety.

I'm now significantly underemployed in a field that interests me. It's not great but it's a compromise.
