Rear LSD and open front. When I’m crossed up do I use 4hi or 4lo when trying to brake and gas at the same time? Or doesn’t matter?

I unsure I understand you. If you're trying to force to other wheel to spin, I'm unsure this will work.

My truck only locks the rear in 4lo.

It’s something people do with no front or rear locker. They try to brake the spinning wheels to distribute power. I only have a center lock.

Ok I know what mean. The toyota offroad has the A-Trac feature that is supposed to do that. Again only works in 4lo.

I would suggest only 4lo for gas break. Usually if going 4hi it's speed and momentum. 4lo for if a wheel is hanging and going slow; not rock bashing.

I could be wrong, I'm a novice.

For sure. I’ll have to practice some more in 4Lo. I could be expecting too much tho. My car is old and doesn’t have the ABS assisted LSD like ATRAC.
