I love calling someone a 'berk'. Simple, harmless word but it's got a good affectionate ring to it.

Yesterday my kid made up the insult "bucket gobbler" while playing in the tub, and I might use it on him next time he gets uppity with me.
It sounds very obscene but I can't tell you why!
