Can y'all suggest me books (that are suitable for young-adults) where the MC can transform into a monster and fights other monsters as well? Thanks either way!

Martha Wells's Books of the Raksura would fit this niche pretty well!

Bastion by Phil Tucker has a bit of shapeshiftiness going on later on in the book, and is a continued theme.
