So the "movistar trident" has been a meme for so long, but has any team ever brought a roster like JV that has 3 true contenders and also delivered these results???
Team Sky came close when they had Wiggins and Froome, but in the end Wiggins was top. A predecessor of JV once named Mollema, ten Dam and… Gesink? as their GC guys. They did a n interview about it and it was so awkward
It's not even just the top three. Any split, on ramp or in wind, they have like half of the front group. This team is OP, it's boring at this point because it takes all tension out of the race. The only excitement left is whether roglic can keen his temper being the 3rd rider on his team.
