Same here, it gets unbearable - I sympathise with you. We have roof windows and last summer during the heatwave I think we touched 36°c inside. I'm dreading what might be to come this year. On the flip side in winter it was 8°c at times...Swings and roundabouts, right?

Morning everyone. It has indeed rained! Had a good heavy shower yesterday evening. Today is a day of housework and food shopping now that it’s a bit cooler. Starting the week in a relatively positive mood - hopefully that continues!

I’m proper chuffed for him. First grass final as well. Totally forgot the Rothesay finals were today too so I missed Murray and Boulter win! What a bad Brit, lol. If I tried to watch everything I’d get nothing done.

Thank you for creating this community. It’s one of the few things I was sad to lose from The Other Place.

Me too lol. Like, this is so wholesome and cosy I’m going to cry now.

Originally Derbyshire Dales. Currently Cherwell, it’s been over a year and I’m still homesick.

Happy Sunday all. It’s proper muggy here. My hair is looking increasingly like Monica’s did in Barbados.

I could be very wrong but for me it seems to be linked to language settings. If my comment won’t send, I select English underneath the text box and then try again and it works.

Christ this just unlocked a horrible memory of being put in detention on my own by an awful teacher. He shouted so loudly directly in my face and spat all over me. It was so degrading. I was sobbing when I left that classroom.
