People are ignorant af. Surge pricing is exactly the same as offering a discount on prices during the less busy times and suddenly people are ok with it. “Our businesses surge from 1030-1300 and 1700-1900 so we’re gonna charge $15 for the meal that’s normally $13.” Is the same exact situation as: Xyz economic situation is causing us to raise prices across the board, so we’re gonna now charge $15 for this meal. Oh wait business is slow, offer them a discount outside of these hours: 1030-1300 and 1700-1900.

As someone who works for a large utility company on the distribution side, the small ones on poles or in underground neighborhoods are still tough to get with backorders causing delays in projects. It’s gotten a lot better, but it’s still slow on them.
As someone who works for a union, seeing all the unions working for better benefits for its workers happening big over the last few years…. I’m looking forward to our next contract negotiations.
Work forces us to use okta to do everything. What a pain in the ass.
I’m worried that a game this big made by Bethesda is going to be horribly glitchy when the masses get ahold of it. I’m excited tho because it looks like no man’s sky 2 and it has a much improved everything system from what it looks like. I just hope it’s not so big that the quality is low.
I just leave it on standby and then when I want to use it that day I try to plug it in before hand or just find somewhere to charge when I need it.
Just got back from vacation yesterday and the only true part of that in my experience from the past few years is the increased prices.
It blows my mind that this game is as popular as it is.
Is it leading to an outdoor location? Or leading indoor? If so I would just use grey putty, or grey duct seal I think it’s called.
Northern Virginia with Verizon and every provider in the area for some competition. I also own my router and have Verizon for my cell phone service so they discount me $10 to get to that $25. (Normally $35)
300 up and down for $25 a month checking in.
You’re missing the point I’m trying to make entirely and arguing the way they’re going to try to implement it. How it’s going to happen doesn’t matter, but the fact still is you and everyone else can expect this to become common place.
