I loath it, but alas, it is for the children.

What character from a TV show that also has a book is your child going to school dressed as? And how much did you have to fork out for the costume?

Bluey. Of course. She's decided she wants to be one of the 4-5 kids from her class who's going as noted literary heroine, Bluey from the timeless ~~book~~ tv series of the same name.

£20. Twenty British pounds sterling. Madness.

We're new in these parts so it caught us unprepared a second year in a row, but probably Cat in the Hat since they have the hat already.

I like it tbh. My town is not big on Halloween, and it's the one "American" thing I truly do miss.

Not a big Halloween family to be honest, although we did go out last year and I think we'll be making more of an effort this year.

Honestly we don't normally bother and it's just a non-uniform day but this year it is Where's Wally? for one and all the Minecraft clothes for the other.

My youngest has never really liked dressing up and he goes to a special needs school with no uniform policy.

Therefore, when a dressing up day arrives, my wife made him a t-shirt which reads 404: Costume not found. It's been worn quite a lot.
