As part of the Reading Climate festival, a guided walk around the ancient meadows between Coley and Southcote is being run this weekend. It's a lovely area of town, and worth a visit.

Walk meets at 10:00, at the corner between Circuit Lane and Sylvan Walk, and will take around 2 hours. 51.44042, -1.00469 ///intervals.middle.icons

I am not the organiser, however I will probably come along.

Might just be me but the link takes me to a generic list of events and nothing that looks like a walk?

Edit: I think it’s sold out, I did manage to find the event with a different browser…

I would be very surprised if it's actually ticketed, since it's a walk. We did have to be ticketed at Ramblers for a while, but I think all the restrictions have gone away now.

Though I guess people shouldn't travel from too far away on the off-chance!

How did it go? A good walk I hope!

I wasn't well, unfortunately! Might have to see if there are any other nice events soon. Or have a wander along the old coley railway walk by myself.
