Nope, it's a very convenient Sunday afternoon race for us Aussies, doesn't happen often.
The explanation that I saw was that Europeans will be able to wake up and have a cup of coffee with the race. Apparently there are more fans there.

Still not sure what they were thinking with the schedule. Itβs crazy that itβs more convenient to watch the races live that are on the other side of the world than one a single time zone away. Iβm just planning on starting the replay tomorrow morning. Donβt have the stamina to stay up that late anymore!

This is Charles Leclerc big opportunity to convert a pole into a win. I truly hope he makes it. The guys needs it (and deserves it) after a mostly forgettable year (save for the poles achived).
I also hope this is an entertaining race, and we see a lot of good racing from people in the mid-field or out of position. Cβmon Las Vegas! Surprise us in a good way!

Welp. I am impressed by this race. Much better than I expected. As good of a first race as you can get.
Leclerc will burn his tires, and perez will get him for the 2nd.
If the tires fall off too much, he might get got by piastri as well

I have no clue who I'd vote for as DOTD. Great work for Perez, but it's more a return to form from bad form than above and beyond IMO.
