I'm confused too. The Nazis are rallying for the Jews?
Not really. They claim to be rallying for them, but they are just capitalizing on the current situation to rile up hate against both muslims and jews.
Which is also why any agressive politics towards muslims now are not helping the jewish communities in Europe. They just normalise hate and supression as a political mean and the hate will spill over against jewish, LGBT, sinti and other marginalized communities.
Be careful with equating Israel and the Jews, some would argue itβs actually antisemitic to do so because it implies that jewish people have a higher allegiance to Israel. Essentially saying that Jewish citizens of a country are Israeli/Jewish first and citizen second, which is basically nazi propaganda.
These far right idiots are protesting for Israel not the jews.
Modern fascists and Zionists are both white supremacists who despise Muslims.
"The enemy of my enemy is my friend"
More like, "The enemy of my enemy is still my enemy, but I still use this opportunity to hurt the first enemy this time since public opinion is more accepting of it right now."
Far-right nutjobs have absolutely no problem in lying to your face about caring about Jews or Israel as long they can use it to hurt Muslims. The whole situation is a dream to them as regardless of which side gets hurt, it hurts the right people in their eyes.
Couldn't agree more. It's an "axis of evil" to borrow a phrase
Islamists and the hard right can both be bad at the same time
The fact that you're calling everyone pro-Palestine Islamist says a lot about you.
I'm not? Just the "Far-Right antisemitic dangers to democracy" in the movement
Far right plan to do a rally next weekend in France as well. This is facho weekend.
