I'm playing Elden Ring and Vampire Survivors. I just finished Dredge and it was incredible. I'm quite excited for Hades 2, Starfield and BG3 (ideally with controller support) later this year and I'm going to work through my unplanned library until then.

Slay the Spire, American Truck Simulator, Bloons TD6, Deep Rock Galactic were games I had a good experience with.
I had a USBC Dongle and was also able to play games like TMNT Shredders Revenge, Out of Space, Moving Out, Plate Up and Overcooked with other people very easily by bringing it with me and extra controllers.
Playing Chained Echos and I love it! It's a great love letter to older turn based RPGs
Mostly retro games. Retroachievements is amazing, and creates an entire new dimension to retro games. I've been score chasing a bunch of Atari 2600 games as evening entertainment.
As for Steam games, Neon White is pretty good. I've also been playing Hifi Rush, but have gotten stuck on a battle that I can't seem to beat.
I just got off a huge Hades kick. Currently I'm working through Doom 2016 again, and I'm planning Doom Eternal next since I just got the DLC. After that is probably Cyberpunk 2077. I bought it on release and dropped it after a couple weeks, so I'm excited to see how it plays now with a couple years of updates, and also because the expansion is coming.
I finally claimed all my humble bundle keys for the last few years. So I've been working through some of those.
The stand out, cozy game, that runs really well on the deck is Spiritfarer.
Just finished Octopath travellers some days ago (not 100%, only the main story without the special boss). Now I'm playing Blasphemous. In the middle the lagacy collection of megaman, the first 3 are done.
Recently I was playing Guild Wars 1 and Doom (1996) on it.
Feels great for Doom.
As for Guild Wars 1, it was very much playable. The only frustrations were the login and double clicking in the inventory. Someone had already done a community layout which worked pretty nicely. Note though that I was playing just by myself, so I can't comment on while in a party with other players.
Been playing TOTK too much to pick the Deck up… Was playing Lone Fungus before, which ran really well.
Been playing TOTK lately too. But for me before that it was Borderlands 3. Hadn't heard of Lone Fungus. Just added it to my wishlist. Love me some Metroidvanias.
Not too much right now as I have been in the TOTK hole for weeks, but recently I was playing the CIV 6, the new Hitman trilogy, and a few different metroidvanias. And I played HiFi Rush to completion on it. Fantastic device. Long term I will end up playing a lot of emulation on it too.
I’ve been playing Diablo 4 on it the last couple of days. Before that was Death Stranding.
Playing some Wildermyth right now - it works just right. Yakuza Like a Dragon works like a charm on the SD, btw. That is an amazing game. Might go after Ishin Like a Dragon right after!
I play some big name titles, but I kinda turned mine into an emulation box. New games are good and all, but portable Paper Mario TTYD is a dream.
My Steam Deck is mostly an indie/retro machine that I play while I'm vegging out in bed/on the couch at the end of the day. Lots of PS1 games and whatnot
I've been playing System Shock 2, the original version i got from GOG (it took a bit to make the controls work but it works fine, though i found a weird bug with non-Steam games in that if you rename the game it loses the control settings - e.g. i set up the controls when the icon was named "SS2.exe" but when i renamed it to "System Shock 2" later it lost the settings until i renamed it back to "SS2.exe" :-P).
I also played a bit of Stranger of Sword City, a turn-based and grid-based blobber. I find the deck works fine with such games.
Also both games play just fine at ~5Watt settings (i like to optimize the settings per-game to get more battery life out of the system).
Elden Ring (I'm a bit late in the game), and the new expansions for Pathfinder Wrath of the Righteous and Solasta.
I want a steam deck so badly. In the mean time I’m paying my switch.
But I really want to play disco elysium. I know it’s available for the switch, but it pays terribly compared to the pc.
I payed it on my switch. I think they updated it and made the performance better. It may not be as good, but it was good enough for me. (I actually prefer my switch because the size fits my hands better. )
anybody with a deck tried modded minecraft? if i get one and it works i’ll probably end up having another one of those month-long minecraft phases haha
Right now I'm playing Horizon Zero dawn. runs beautifully. very occasionally crashes but otherwise great.
After neglecting my Switch for months to play my Steam backlog on the Deck, I've been fully sucked into Tears of the Kingdom for the time being.
Lately I've been playing Descenders: It's been a lot of fun and runs great! It's a procedurally generated cycling/BMX game.
I would like to know who is running SteamOS and how Proton is working for you.
Love the Steam Deck. I’m able to play so much more than I did before. Currently playing Persona 5 Royal and I’m really enjoying it. I’ll be at it for a while so I don’t know what’s next. Maybe Octopath Traveler 2 or Persona 4 Golden.
Divinity Original Sin 2.
Fantastic game, plays great. Only about 35 hours in and I'm blown away. Dialogue choices matter, puzzles and problems can be solved in numerous ways with all sorts of unique interactions. I've barely scratched the surface too
Fromsoft Games and I just started Metal Gear Rising for the first time. God I love Platinum Games.
Raises hand
I love my Steam Deck, although at the moment it's mainly being used as a PS5 remote play device while I'm playing God of War:Ragnarok. I play all sorts of stuff on it though, and it probably gets more use than my desktop gaming PC these days.
Been advancing the story in Trails of Cold Steel II, the sleep function is a bless for these types of games.
I'm playing Halo Master Chief Collection. I've never played any Halo before due to never having an Xbox back in the day.
Started with Halo 1 and really loving it. Good fun indeed.
Making my way through Yakuza 0. For whatever reason I stopped playing it on the PC a couple years ago and I'm starting over from the beginning now on the Deck. Also working through Shadow of War now and then ever since I got it for like $5 a couple weeks back.
This is probably one of the best games available for the format. There are few joys that can reach the heights of some idiot picking a fight with you while you're standing next to a bike rack.
Yakuza 0 is sick! Beat it on my Steam Deck last year and was massively blown away by the character writing. Hope your experience will be as positive as mine.
Spyro is almost done, next would be Crash Bandicoot. I also started playing TOTK on it but the fps is atrocious at this time.
Had an absolute blast with Dredge this past winter. Next up on my list is Nier as I've heard it runs super well and it's been in my backlog for ages.
I'm in act 2 of Midnight Suns. It makes a bad first impression, but once you get into the progression loops, it's a good time.
