A community for your defence shitposting needs

Rules

1. Be niceDo not make personal attacks against each other, call for violence against anyone, or intentionally antagonize people in the comment sections.

2. Explain incorrect defense articles and takes

If you want to post a non-credible take, it must be from a "credible" source (news article, politician, or military leader) and must have a comment laying out exactly why it's non-credible. Low-hanging fruit such as random Twitter and YouTube comments belong in the Matrix chat.

3. Content must be relevant

Posts must be about military hardware or international security/defense. This is not the page to fawn over Youtube personalities, simp over political leaders, or discuss other areas of international policy.

4. No racism / hatespeech

No slurs. No advocating for the killing of people or insulting them based on physical, religious, or ideological traits.

5. No politics

We don't care if you're Republican, Democrat, Socialist, Stalinist, Baathist, or some other hot mess. Leave it at the door. This applies to comments as well.

6. No seriousposting

We don't want your uncut war footage, fundraisers, credible news articles, or other such things. The world is already serious enough as it is.

7. No classified material

Classified ‘western’ information is off limits regardless of how "open source" and "easy to find" it is.

8. Source artwork

If you use somebody's art in your post or as your post, the OP must provide a direct link to the art's source in the comment section, or a good reason why this was not possible (such as the artist deleting their account). The source should be a place that the artist themselves uploaded the art. A booru is not a source. A watermark is not a source.

9. No low-effort posts

No egregiously low effort posts. E.g. screenshots, recent reposts, simple reaction & template memes, and images with the punchline in the title. Put these in weekly Matrix chat instead.

10. Don't get us banned

No brigading or harassing other communities. Do not post memes with a "haha people that I hate died… haha" punchline or violating the sh.itjust.works rules (below). This includes content illegal in Canada.

11. No misinformation

NCD exists to make fun of misinformation, not to spread it. Make outlandish claims, but if your take doesn’t show signs of satire or exaggeration it will be removed. Misleading content may result in a ban. Regardless of source, don’t post obvious propaganda or fake news. Double-check facts and don't be an idiot.

Wouldn't it be funny if, as an organised joke, they'd all agree to bring back only (lots of) furry porn to see how that would shape the nation through generations to come?

Well, it's not like they have free will. All their knowledge of outside world and within country is filtered through their government, bringing back furry porn means nothing if they cannot share it. It'll be confiscated immediately on arrival.

You act as if they have any chance of getting back into North Korea. Even if they survive combat there is no chance they would every be let back inside after having seen the outside world

I'm not so sure but i don't think that could be the case tbh. Despite being seclusive country, they do allow student to study abroad and they allow their people to work abroad as well. Under what condition, i don't know, but the number is very limited and they also allowed back in for "reeducation". This article has a tiny bit of info on this. I suspect they made use of social alienation so even when they went back and tell others what's it like, no one will believe it because of how deep the indoctrination run.

Edit: to add, these are the top soldiers they sending, NK will definitely want them back.

They would 1000% be searched upon returning.

Edit: OOP. Didn't see the last part of your comment. Sorry.

Squirrel and Hedgehog was made by the Norks, if they are not familiar with furry porn then they are at least familiar with furrys as a concept.

What do you mean, "washing machine"?

[–] Mycatiskai@lemmy.ca -1 points 21 hours ago (1 children)

There is a whole genre of pornography that is centered around a woman of questionable intelligence getting stuck in a washing machine/couch cushion/stair bannister/etc and then getting fucked by stepson/brother/cousin/father/random repairmam either to get them free or because they are unable to stop them.

It very much seems like a quasi acceptable rape fantasy that isn't totally rape even though obviously it would be Rape.

[–] ChaoticNeutralCzech@feddit.org 8 points 9 hours ago

I know. The joke is, Russian soldiers have stolen washing machines from homes in occupied territory, indicating a domestic shortage, and presumably, some North Koreans would not even know about them.

The age of the great north Korean porn revolution is upon us

North Korean soldiers deployed to Russia have never experienced Internet before and are gorging on pornography https://www.newsweek.com/north-korean-troops-russia-ukraine-war-gorging-pornography-1981960
