I still have no idea how to pronounce Hyundai.

Hee-un-dai?

Hi-un-dai?

Hunt-dai?

Hu-in-dai?

Hin-dai?

We say “Yan-dai”

Were it korean, it would probably be Hyun-dai.

I usually pronounce it "hun-dai" or "off-brand honda"

It's Hyundai, like Sunday according to their Super Bowl ad

The name of the company is the Korean word for "Modernity". It is pronounced like "Yun" with an "H" in front of it. Or "Hun", but with the "Y" from "Yum" after the H.

To the best of my knowledge, there's no English word or phrase that uses this combination. "He Yawn Day" is pretty close, but slur the first two words together into a single syllable, and make it rhyme with "Sunday"

The wikipedia page for Hyundai has a recording of the correct pronunciation.

People just assuming bad faith, I would totally get a "my grandchildren are in my selfish son's balls" sticker for my parents if it weren't a wierd thing to put on a car.

Come on, that's funny.
