This article was written like cancer. Just get to the fucking point already. Writers today are fucking garbage I swear.

This was written by Cory Doctorow, science fiction novelist, tech activist, and original coiner of the phrase "enshittification of the internet." I'm guessing this one was a longer and wordier piece because it's meant to be a commentary, not your typical article or editor's note.

You’re not wrong. If I am reading an article I want it to be short and to the point. Writing it like it’s a book is ridiculous. I’m not interested in a novel ffs. I’m not looking to be dazzled with clever phraseology and metaphors for days. Just explain the shit and get on with it lol.
