Would take lemmy users to be 98% in the third category in stead of just 80% ๐Ÿ˜‰

Do you know any actual statistics? I'd be curious.

From my experience, I feel like Lemmy trends older than reddit. I've encountered so many users here who seem to be about my same age.

I don't have the statistics, no, just my own anecdotal experience and what most people here seem to think is the case lol.

I'm 41 and feel like very few of the people I encounter here are significantly younger.

As opposed to Reddit where 30 was considered ancient by most. Probably even moreso now after the migration lol

This has been what I've noticed as well. I'm even older than you, which was basically a walking corpse by reddit metrics.

I don't think you would be able to tell the difference between people your age and people that are significantly younger.
