How about a key for faster choosing GNU+Linux in GRUB/rEFInd/libreboot? :)

It sounds like a good feature to assign a certain key to an option in GRUB. Maybe GRUB has this feature already, it has been a while since I've looked into it's config options.

No need for a dedicated key in the physical keyboard tho, just let the user choose, Alt or Space are good options.

How many people has the context key on their keyboard? Or scroll lock? Or F6-F9 and F11?

Plenty of other options out there. Even keyboard-centric people rarely use those keys unless they have an app that explicitly uses it.
