Because it isn't satire.

Adam Samer al-Ghoul, 8, was shot in the head and Basil Suleiman Abu al-Wafa, 15, died after he was shot in the chest.

And this is in refugee camps in the West Bank, not the main action in Gaza.

At least 242 Palestinians, including more than 50 children, have been killed in the occupied West Bank since October 7. More than 2,750 have been injured.

It was when the article was written. In 2018.

No one online does even basic research anymore, like even clicking the link. Everyone just reads the headline and makes assumptions.

The poster I responded to was clearly taking the article at face value, even ignoring the satirical nature, it's a 5 year old article either way and not written about current events.

A post trying to conflate a 5 year old satire article and current events is factually wrong and should be called out, even if the source is obviously satire.
