Opinion pieces are also allowed, provided they are not misleading/misrepresented/drivel, and have proper sources.
If you think "reputable news source" needs some definition, by all means start a meta thread.
Posts should be manually submitted, not by bot. Link titles should not be editorialised.
Disappointing comments will generally be left to fester in ratio, outright horrible comments will be removed.

Saw a report earlier that a lot of councils are on the verge of bankruptcy because of the increase in the last few years of the cost of providing emergency accommodation to the genpop, not asylum seekers.
For example, Hastings council housing bill went from £750k in 2019 to £5.6M by next April
