fair point.
The Boys was good, but the Lord of the Rings series was horrible.
Invincibles was good too.
The Expanse was amazing.
I'm enjoying Wheel of Time. Even as a fan of the books despite the changes.
You're making Lan sad saying things like that
I've been avoiding any online talk about it and just enjoying it for what it is.
I was just joking around about Lan constantly being sad in the show
Ah. I get that they aren't following the books explicitly but they are keeping the characters and over arching story going in the right direction. I'm enjoying it...
... so far. I was enjoying GoT too up until about half way through series 4 when it became clear that they had completely diverged from the books.
Yeah I have hope.
They are changing a lot of "rules" and storylines but we'll see where it goes. I can see why they had to change some of it for it to work in a TV format, other things seem weird to change. But I'll hold on to the hope.
Part of me is excited to see a series finale where The Dark One is unmasked like a Scooby Doo villain though
If it weren't for those pesky kids...
But the way they've got Egwene collared by the Seanchan. Perrin being taught about being a wolf brother by Elias makes sense. You couldn't have a wolf on screen teaching Perrin.
Oh yeah, this season feels like it's making more sense.
First season had me worried, but I'm forgiving everything that happened during the lockdown era as a general rule.
This is the way.
Meh. I found it enjoyable overall, despite some annoyances.
And I've read the books a fair bit. Even The Silmarillion.
