Horror is the movie genre most positioned to take advantage of the fears and desires in the deepest parts of the human psyche. I don't understand the concept of horror movies as entertainment

Maybe don't critique them then? I personally never 'got' horror as a genre either until the last year or so, but the feeling I get from a holocaust documentary is not comparable.
