After months of relentless propaganda over on the sub, I ordered this set of D. R. Harris Marlborough.

Warm and woodsy, this smells pleasant enough

It's a stick of shaving soap. You rub it on your face like you would apply a lipstick or deodorant, and lather it all up with a brush. It's maybe a bit old school, but works well.

Oh is that what Iโ€™m supposed to be doing with lipstick and deodorant? ;)
